Audrey Hibdon’s Mission Story
I started walking when I was 3 years old. That was when we moved to Northern California and my mom started working for the Alzheimer’s Association, so I have been helping and fundraising for Walk from a young age.
My great-grandma Barbara died 6 years ago when I was only five from Alzheimer’s so that is why I walk. Every year I hold a purple flower in her memory.
As many of you probably know, I am a girl scout. Last year at the end of cookie sales we had extra cookies and I was starting to love cooking and baking with my mom. We decided to turn the extra cookies into delicious desserts as a fundraiser for the longest day. We raised about $500!
In 2020 for the walk we walked in our neighborhood.
